Welcome to the Lamar Dance Website

The Lamar Dance Department is part of the award-wining Lamar Fine Arts Academy.

The Lamar Dance Department provides opportunities for dance at every level - beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Ballet classes are also offered.

For those dancers interested in the most comprehensive and performance opportunities, the Lamar Dance Company is available, by audition, to 7th and 8th graders.


Please note that applications for the 2024-25 Fine Arts Academy have closed for the 2024-25 school year, and that company auditions are complete.

support Lamar Fine Arts Academy Dances To Disneyland!!  

 

Help support Lamar Fine Arts Academy Dancer Majors and Company members by pledging a one-time donation to your favorite dancer OR Teacher!

Donations will support all students traveling to Disneyland in Anaheim, CA this October. Dancers will be attending a professional Disney performance workshop and Lamar Company dancers will also get the opportunity to perform on the Disney Main Stage. Each student's goal is to raise at least $200.  All money that exceeds that amount will help pay for costumes, choreography fees, and scholarships.
