Welcome to the Lamar Middle School & Fine Arts Academy Dance Department

The Lamar Dance Department is part of the award-wining Lamar Fine Arts Academy.

The Lamar Dance Department provides opportunities for dance at every level - beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Ballet classes are also offered.

For those dancers interested in the most comprehensive and performance opportunities, the Lamar Dance Company is available, by audition, to 7th and 8th graders.

Lamar Dance Company will perform at LASA Spring @ the AISD PAC performance at 6pm.  Costumes are student provided floral dress and skin toned socks.  

Please arrive with hair and make up done.  You can come in costume or in your basics.

5pm Arrive at the PAC.

5-5:15 Warm ups in the dance studio

5:15-5:30 Run spacing

6pm Show start time

7:30 pm Finish

Please be on time, we have a quick turn around time.
