Welcome to the Lamar Middle School & Fine Arts Academy Dance Department

The Lamar Dance Department is part of the award-wining Lamar Fine Arts Academy.

The Lamar Dance Department provides opportunities for dance at every level - beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Ballet classes are also offered.

For those dancers interested in the most comprehensive and performance opportunities, the Lamar Dance Company is available, by audition, to 7th and 8th graders.


Please note that applications for the 2026-27 Fine Arts Academy has been opened

The Lamar Dance Company and Dance Majors Winter Party will be Friday, January 16th from 4-8pm in the Dance Studio. The Dance Guild will provide a pizza dinner and we will decorate cupcakes, make bracelets, make greeting cards for a local senoir center, watch a movie, and have a comfy sock exchange.
